Rumors surrounding the purported release of the yet-to-be-confirmed iPad Mini 5 from Apple keeps on getting to the surface as well as what many people believe as the gizmo’s specifications. Investigating the rumors and speculations, KGI Security analyst Ming Chi Kuo, said that Apple could launch 10.5 inch iPad Pro, Business Insider reported. Thus, it is safe to assume that the device will possibly be thinner, lighter and water resistant.

“Also, recent rumors regarding the retina display that might be used for the iPad Mini 5 suggest that the screen might actually be larger than the previously mentioned 7.9”. The device might follow the standard Apple measurements of a 9.7-inch screen with 2048 x 1536 resolution. The iPad Mini 4 and iPad Air 2 also got a $100 discount for their 128 GB variants. The iPad Pro 2; however, was an apparent no-show as Apple mostly focused on their newly launched devices.
