Instead, Dr. Oz and Trump will chat about health and wellness in general.
The Democratic nominee has taken three days off to recover and returned to the campaign trail on Thursday.
Reports had suggested that the interview would include a discussion of the results from Trump’s most recent physical examination. This, after his campaign said the Republican nominee would not be discussing the results on the show. “Additionally, as all physicians do when seeing a patient for the first time, Dr. Oz took Mr. Trump through a full review of systems”.
The appearance is partly a pitch to female voters.
“I think I could lose a little weight”, Trump said on the show. The contents of the records were not immediately revealed by the campaign, though the show was scheduled to air on Thursday.
A spokeswoman for the show declined to provide any further details.
What if there were embarrassing things in Trump’s records?
“But I do not believe that we can have a wealthy country without being a healthy country”, Oz said. “He’s not doing the exam, he’s going to analyze what the doctor did”, Kilmeade explained to “Fox and Friends” co-host Steve Doocy. Dr. Oz, a cardiothoracic surgeon by training, developed a loyal following after appearing on The Oprah Winfrey Show through the years.
It remains unclear whether Oz tested Trump himself or simply read the results from the physical given by Bornstein. While he has talked about members of his family who have grappled with alcoholism or Alzheimer’s disease, the letter did not address this in the mention of his family health history.
He was booked on the show more than a week ago, which means the plans pre-date Hillary Clinton’s recent health scare.
Earlier in the day, Trump campaign manager, Kellyanne Conway told Fox News that “if he is asked a question about his health or his stamina, I’m sure he’ll be happy to answer it”.
In the wake of Clinton’s health situation, Democrats are starting to challenge Trump over his health.

But since she stumbled leaving a 9/11 commemoration ceremony on Sunday morning, Trump has been careful not to question Clinton’s health directly.
