Plea in SC to maintain law and order in TN, Karnataka

He said the people of Karnataka and Tamil Nadu have always handled the situation with sensitivity and urged the people to display sensitivity, and also keep in mind their civic responsibilities.

Expressing the state’s difficulty in executing Supreme Court’s order, the CM assured people of Cauvery basin area of providing enough drinking water.
Central forcesThe Centre rushed ten companies comprising 1,000 personnel of the special anti-riot paramilitary force Rapid Action Force to Karnataka to tackle the violent situation arising out of the raging Cauvery water sharing dispute.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi appealed for peace in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.
