Obama began his speech saying: ‘I’ve got an extra spring in my step tonight. Again, not exactly what people are looking for. With this as with other issues, it leaves us wondering what the candidates are trying to hide. The same goes for Trump’s tax returns, as he has continued to resist pressure to follow the long-standing practice of releasing them to the public. “To think that with just 124 days to go, under the wire, we got that resolved”.

Obama highlighted areas of progress during his two terms as president.

Geoff Garin, the Priorities USA pollster, said Trump’s surge in OH and elsewhere is largely due to his consolidation of Republican and Republican-leaning independent voters.

“The candidate who has coattails is the candidate who is going to be able to pull in voters who might not otherwise have voted – and that’s what Obama was able to do in 2008 and 2012, especially among younger voters, African-American voters and minority voters”, Smith said.

‘Even when hateful nonsense is throw their way Barack, Michelle and their two attractive daughters represent our country with class, grace and integrity.

Clinton campaign manager Robbie Mook said Trump has “a pattern of inciting people to violence”.
