Trump Suggests Clinton’s Bodyguards Should Drop Their Weapons, & People Aren’t Having It
But Trump was actually repeating a formulation that he has used many times before, about how Clinton should have her guards disarm if she believes so strongly that guns aren’t the answer to stopping violence.

He justified asking Clinton’s bodyguards to disarm by falsely accusing his presidential rival of trying to “destroy” the Second Amendment that refers to the U.S. gun control policies, The New York Times reported. While Clinton supports gun control, she also supports the private citizen’s right to bear arms.
He added, however, “I think we would be unrealistic to think that some people are going to fundamentally change their view”.
“It has tightened up because I think Martha as you know, even with your discussions with voters, we are a divided nation”.
When Fallon asked her about her “serious demeanor”, the Democratic nominee said it was important to talk with gravity about subjects such as the ISIL militant group.
“She slanders and smears with her statements last week working people who just want a fraction of the security enjoyed by our politicians and certainly enjoyed by her”, Trump said. Take them. Let’s see what happens to her. Take their guns away. “Okay? It’d be very risky”. And the Clinton campaign was quick to condemn the candidate’s remarks.
The latest comments came just hours after Mr Trump was forced to reverse his long-held position that President Barack Obama was not born in the United States. Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump speaks during a campaign rally, Saturday, Sept. 17, 2016, in Colorado Springs, Colo.
Mrs Clinton said Mr Trump’s birther campaign was founded on “an outrageous lie” and there was “no erasing it in history”.
He continued: “By the way, if she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks”.
Bernie Sanders has scorned Donald Trump for only now declaring he believes President Obama is American-born.
Earlier Mr Trump, the main supporter of false claims about the birthplace of current president Barack Obama, has finally said he accepts Mr Obama was born in the US.
Granted, people who possess great political power are always targets for the disillusioned, but this isn’t the first time Trump has insinuated gun violence against his opponent.
Several federal law enforcement officials told CNN there is concern Trump’s rhetoric could lead to a Secret Service or law enforcement officer getting shot or killed.
“We will not elect a chief bigot of the United States of America”, said Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, D-Texas.

Coincidentally, former Republican presidential candidate turned Trump supporter, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, bashed the advertisement alongside others.
