WhatsApp for Windows Phone gets Cloud backup
It turns out that the company has now realized what it had missed and is working hard on adding this feature as soon as possible even for its Windows Phone users.

Normally this would mean going into each group individually to share the same message, but the latest WhatsApp beta, version 2.16.208, offers a convenient solution.
Windows Phone users are finally getting the much needed cloud backup support with the next Whatsapp update.
The only problem with cloud message backup in WhatsApp is that each client come with support for different services on each platform, so while Windows Phone users can back up their data to OneDrive, Android users have to turn to Google Drive, while those on iPhones must use iCloud. Here, you can adjust the frequency of backup like daily, weekly and monthly.
As WhatsApp Beta is a pre-release version of the original WhatsApp, we should expect the feature to come to regular “stable” users at some point. However, this makes it troublesome if a user wants to migrate between platforms.
WhatsApp Beta is now allowing the users to backup all the data on a monthly, weekly, and daily basis.
The next target of WhatsApp would be cross platform backup and restore system.

On the other hand, there are other third-party apps out in the market which can do this for you. I’ve read so many reviews in Windows Store about backup data on OneDrive.
