Vikings QB Bradford to start vs. Packers
Green Bay is getting odds of -1 point against the Vikings, while the over/under total for the contest is listed at 42 points. No such gimmicks are needed this time. Apparently the Vikings having issues defeating an AFC South opponent on the road was somehow less impressive than the Packers having issues.defeating an AFC South opponent on the road.

The Minnesota Vikings host the Green Bay Packers in Week 2 of the National Football League schedule on Sunday, kick off time at 8:30 PM ET at U.S. Bank Stadium. “It’s going to be fun”. The two teams competed to be division winners in week 17 of last season and this is the first game in the Vikings’ new stadium.
That didn’t turn out too well.
Matthews and the Packers won 30-13 in Minnesota in 2015.
The key to this one for Minnesota is to get things opened up offensively. Since defensive whiz Zimmer has had a way of confounding Aaron Rodgers and Green Bay’s potent passing game with exotic coverages and pressures, the Packers may need to make liberal use of running the football with Eddie Lacy after limiting him to 14 carries in the hot conditions at Jacksonville last Sunday.
“I’m expecting there to be some great energy, great crowd noise, ” Rodgers said.
More important, his 4-3 scheme has bothered Rodgers, holding him to a passer rating under 87 in four of the six games.
The coach said he believes Bradford is ready to start. That’s why he’s glad Green Bay doesn’t have to contend with the transparent roof at U.S. Bank Stadium, and instead will take the field at night in a game nationally televised by NBC.
“Everybody knows that Sam is one of our best defensive players, one of our best players overall”, Hyde said. I have to think Bradford will get the start as well.
The Green Bay Packers came away with a hard fought victory against a good Jacksonville Jaguars team in week one. He referred to a feature at U.S. Bank Stadium in which the lights are dimmed when the Vikings score a touchdown. During the latter, September 1 against Los Angeles, the lights were dimmed whenever Minnesota scored a touchdown.
The Vikings, meanwhile, have eight quarterbacks who have made a single start against the Packers. “That’s an opportunity I’ve just got to take advantage of and just help my team out”. “You know, everybody is cheering, the lights are going out, and you’re kind of like, ‘Dang, we just got scored on'”. The Vikings weren’t able to clear out the middle of the Titans’ defense, allowing the outside linebackers to swarm and box Peterson in. “We’re going to make sure we are ready for Sam and make sure we are ready for Shaun”.
The Vikings are opening a sparkling new stadium when they host the Packers.
It’s not your typical venue for the state’s most prestigious performers. The injury of Vikings cornerback Xavier Rhodes could be a big concern as the season goes along.
Rhodes will be replaced by Trae Waynes, who was generally solid playing for Rhodes against the Titans. We did a good job of stopping the run for the most part. He did, though, express frustration in Floyd, who has battled injuries since becoming a starter in his second season of 2014, being hurt again.

Unfortunately, I have seen reports since that time that say tickets are going for up to $10,000-but that also could be for fake tickets.
