I’m not concerned about lack of goals at Watford – Ighalo

The Football Association has confirmed it will investigate the crowd disturbances that occurred during West Ham’s Premier League match at home to Watford on Saturday.

West Ham had been cruising with French playmaking star Dmitri Payet making his first start of the campaign and immediately easing into the role of creative fulcrum.

Substitute Jonathan Calleri headed against the foot of an upright as the Hammers desperately looked for a way back, while Stefano Okaka’s celebrations were cut short after an assistant’s flag denied the Hornets a fifth. “I just want everyone else to do that”.

Mazzarri is glad to be able to continue to count on the Nigeria forward, who scored 17 goals last season.

However, a quickfire double from Odion Ighalo and Troy Deeney turned the game on its head prior to the interval, with second-half strikes from Etienne Capoue and Jose Holebas sealing Walter Mazzarri’s first victory as Watford manager.

Mazzarri added: “Another concept I always tell my players is that they have to believe that we can win until the referee whistles for the end of the game”.

“Every big club is suffering if their best player is not playing”, Bilic said.

Nearly as captivating was Deeney’s lob of goalkeeper Adrian in first-half injury-time that enabled Watford to enter half-time all-square and West Ham’s fretful back four never recovered.

The Hammers are also considering granting the requests of fans, particularly those with young children, to move to a different part of the stadium if they are unhappy with their current seats and the behaviour of those around them. Of course it shouldn’t but it happens.

“In other games we’ve had opportunities but they didn’t go in”.

West Ham already have two losses on the season, but they came against powerhouses Chelsea and Manchester City.
