New Thunder acquisition Victor Oladipo: NBA will see national anthem protests

If I did such a thing, no one would have cared almost as much. The stand that holds the flag has one button. Understanding that we’re not ideal but we need to be equal.

The USA Today quoted Kaepernick. “Because at the end of the day it’s a sport, and people are gonna be looking at some guys in the National Basketball Association to see what they’re gonna do as well”, Oladipo said.

Kaepernick was joined by teammate Eric Reid in kneeling during the National Anthem before the 49ers’ game Monday night. That is what the issue is, and we need to change that.

Kaepernick was also quoted about his reason for sitting during the anthem.

“I’ll most likely stand. Colin, if you follow the way he talks, the message he’s trying to send with his act, he’s not, from his mouth, disrespecting the veterans or the military”.

“And all they do for our country and the people in Afghanistan and all these people fighting”. Are there some bad apples in our country? Yes. It should be based on people having freedom of speech – people can have that decision. “Though I’m sure it will be futile, I will forever #BoycottTheNFL”.

The American flag stands for liberty.

“It has been awesome”, Kaepernick said. The final line of the song is as follows: “land of the free, and home of the fearless”. “Because we have the right to say what we believe”. He was called everything but a child of God for refusing to “honor America” and our men and women in the armed forces.

May freedom forever fly, let it ring. This nation, the stars and stripes you don’t stand for? Some demonstrators flew the flag upside down as a distress symbol.

Actor James Woods is fed up with the way the NFL has handled Colin Kaepernick’s National Anthem protest – so much so that he has vowed never to watch a league game ever again. I love America. I love people. “We’re teaching life skills through sports”. But you are supposed to be protecting us, not murdering us. They put on a uniform every day just like Kaepernick does.

In 1996, then- Denver Nuggets player Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf created controversy when he refused to stand for the anthem before games, saying the flag was a symbol of oppression in the nation, and that the US had a long history of tyranny. You would think if she was so upset she would not want to represent the same country by whom she is feeling attacked.
