Lady Gaga has been revealed as Super Bowl LI’s halftime act in Houston, following her performance at this year’s Super Bowl of the national anthem, Us Weekly reported on Sunday.

Gaga has revealed that the music video will feature her performing in front of a large crowd of Monster fans and it will debut on Tuesday, September 20 during the premier of Scream Queens.

The quirky popstar has previously sung at the Super Bowl, after performing the national anthem past year.

“Us Weekly ignored my on the record response”, Ravitz tweeted in response to the magazine’s report.

She told The Sun newspaper: “I like to play chess, I think that it’s fun”. “We’ve had conversations (with) several fantastic artists about SB Halftime Show but no final decision”.

Speaking during her concert in Los Angeles in August, Adele said: “First of all, I’m not doing the Super Bowl”.

A rep for the National Football League told Entertainment Weekly: ‘Nothing has changed from what we said earlier in the week’.

She worked on the single with Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker, BloodPop and Mark Ronson, and there are some other big names lined up for collaborations within her upcoming album. She had recently admitted to feel betrayed by many whom she considered friends and close colleagues, leading to her newest album being filled with “rage”. According to Billboard, “Joanne’s handwriting will be included in the album booklet, along with clippings of Joanne and Gaga’s dad and personal items like her aunt’s driver’s license and photos”.
