Yes, it appears the people really like Deez Nuts, a candidate running as an Independent from Wallingford, Iowa, a small Midwestern with a population of 197. Others making a bid for the White House include a woman named “Sara H. Paylin” and a cat named Limberbutt McCubbins.
Incredibly, only 6 percent of voters have a favorable opinion on Deez Nuts, with 13 percent having an unfavorable opinion.
For example, Trump has a 3-point lead against Clinton (45-42), but that drops to 40-38 when Deez Nuts is introduced into the equation. Deez Nuts never had a chance.
His 9% surpasses his 8% figure from Iowa and 7% in Minnesota, a clear sign Deez Nuts’s platforms are beginning to truly spread their wings and fly free, finding their resting place in the hearts of the believers and the minds of the dreamers.
The PPP showed Trump jumped from 16 percent last month to 24 percent. Young voters, men and African-Americans post the highest favorability numbers for Nuts, according to the Public Policy Poll, which helpfully and exhaustively included Nuts in several categories of questions.
