‘No one appreciates remakes!’ Pamela Anderson slams ‘Baywatch’ reboot
Pammy went on to say that, while she loved being on the show, it was made during a “simpler, sweeter time” for TV and she doesn’t think it would work on the big screen today.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Zac Efron will soon be starring in a reboot of Baywatch, but one of the original show’s biggest stars is not impressed.
Efron recently teased that the new Baywatch will be “big, real and raw”, adding that he plans to be hitting the gym with Johnson.
‘No one appreciates the remakes, ‘ she told TMZ.
The pro wrestler-turned-actor added that film bosses have been inundated with requests from young actresses keen to reprise Anderson’s iconic character. “Clearly he’s one unattractive sumbitch but he’s a great dude who’s ready to make something epic”, he wrote. In fact none of the original stars – including David Hassellhoff – have been asked to get involved.
Zac – who also appears alongside Emily Ratajkowski in new music drama film “We Are Your Friends” – told BANG Showbiz: “I’m pretty stoked, yeah”.
‘I can’t tell you the amount of calls we’ve been getting from the most gorgeous actresses and models in the world, from their agents and managers.
“We’re excited about it. I’ve known Zac for some time for years by the way, and this project has been in our wheelhouse and we’re very excited to make the movie”, he said.

The producers of the movie – expected to begin production early in 2016 – have apparently not sought out the 1989-2001 series’ stars.
