Bradford starts at QB for Vikings vs. Packers

Bradford, of course, was traded to Minnesota from the Philadelphia Eagles after Teddy Bridgewater tore the ACL in his left knee and dislocated the knee.

NFL Sunday Night Football takes place tonight with a huge game between the Green Bay Packers and the Minnesota Vikings.

After cruising to a victory in the season opener, it might not matter much who takes the snaps for the Vikings. Coach Mike Zimmer declined again on Friday to confirm his decision. “I did last week”. To see him on the ground in pain, I knew something was wrong.

I like that this bet involves both teams. However, only one team will be able to leave today with a 2-0 record. He was largely underwhelming, throwing zero touchdown passes and posting a 77.3 passer rating, which ranked 23rd among the 32 starters.

The Minnesota Vikings couldn’t lose this night.

The Jets had opened up their season with a disappointing loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, where they looked like they were still in pre-season. With the division title on the line, the quarterback threw for just 99 yards and an interception, posting a season-low 45.7 passer rating.

At least based on the Week 1 results, Peterson may be facing a pretty strong run defense in Green Bay.

Sunday night could play out in similar fashion. He said he believes Bradford is ready to start, as is Shaun Hill.

New to the team and Minnesota’s offensive system, it will be hard for Bradford to put up big numbers. Adrian Peterson also struggled in the game, although he was the focus of a determined Titans defensive gameplan, created to get Hill throwing as much as possible.

Peterson averaged just 1.16 yards per carry before contact on Sunday, according to ESPN Stats & Information, and ended the game with 31 yards on 19 attempts. “We didn’t win every battle up front, we had our share that we did win but in the midst of that there were a couple opportunities, I would say like three or four runs where I think patience and using my vision more would have allowed for some big chunks”.

The Packers will be relieved to have come out of Week 1 with a win, after being pushed all the way against a vastly improved Jacksonville Jaguars team.
