Trump calls for Clinton’s bodyguards to be disarmed
Friday’s comments came just hours after Trump, who for years had questioned Barack Obama’s nationality as part of the “birther” movement, acknowledged for the first time that the president was a native-born U.S. citizen.

The campaign manager of Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton accused the former first lady’s rival, Donald Trump, of “inciting people to violence”, after the magnate suggested that her bodyguards be stripped of their arms in order to “see what happens to her”.
“I think her bodyguards should drop all weapons”. Take them. Let’s see what happens to her. “It would be very unsafe”, he added.
“Mr Trump did a great service to the president and the country by bringing closure to the issue that Hillary Clinton and her team first raised”, he added.
“I’ll answer that question at the right time”, Trump said. When the crowd booed, the GOP standard-bearer sarcastically added, “Although the Second Amendment people – maybe there is, I don’t know”. “And that is especially true for young people like all of you”, she said.
Trump made false accusations against Clinton and told his supporters that she wants to “destroy your Second Amendment”.
We know Hillary has lied to Congress and has had lapses of memory as secretary of state.
Chris Christie said Sunday Donald Trump’s questioning of President Barack Obama’s birthplace was “done”, arguing that Trump hasn’t talked about it for years and put to rest any remaining questions Friday.
Trump has always been one of the most prominent members of the birther movement, calling into question President Obama’s country of origin and therefore the legitimacy of his presidency.
The Clinton camp has, again, labelled Trump “unfit to be President”.
While supporting some gun control measures, Clinton backs the Second Amendment right to gun ownership. “When I’m under the weather, I can afford to take a few days off”, she said.
“Hillary Clinton and her campaign of 2008 started the birther controversy”.
The Democratic Party also demanded an apology from Trump on this issue. “Why did it take him so long to say that the president was born in the United States, which is a fact?”
That comment was deemed so egregious that his campaign was later interviewed about it by the Secret Service. “And he has done it time and time and time again, which tries to divide us as a nation”.

“There were those who questioned and continued to question for the past eight years – up through this very day – whether my husband was even born in this country”, Mrs. Obama said. “And my hope would be that the presidential election reflects more serious issues than that”.
