Bradford was hit hard on his non-throwing hand by Packers outside linebacker Clay Matthews while following through on a pass at one point during the drive. But the Packers have issues of their own, as they continue to try to work Jordy Nelson back into the offensive scheme. Morgan Burnett led the team in tackles, also adding a sack, and Ha-Ha Clinton-Dix had six tackles and a key forced fumble.
“When quarterbacks and receivers are on time”, Randall said, “they’re very tough to stop”.
Only the penalty-prone effort of technique-starved, second-year corner Trae Waynes, somewhat erased by his interception late that sealed things, kept the Packers in the contest.
