Hand over that trophy. Indian-American Aziz Ansari also is nominated for his new Netflix comedy “Master of None”. His poignant performances in this family drama are truly addictive. Tambor’s main competition could be from Anthony Anderson in Black-ish.
But the Simpson case was the biggest of them all, says Nunan, combining celebrity, murder, race and wall-to-wall TV coverage in one of the biggest reality spectacles in history.

Five of the seven nominees this year were up for the award last year. She is well-loved, gets better in the role every year and will make history as the most awarded lead comedy actress in the history of the Emmys if she wins. And “for your consideration” mailers have reached comical proportions, with Netflix sending out a package to Emmy voters so hefty that it could crush a toe.
