In response to the several drought conditions, Aquarion on Friday issued a mandatory ban on watering in Greenwich, Stamford, Darien and New Canaan. We should stay dry until at least 8 p.m., when the leading edge of the steady rainfall will be located east of Interstate 81. “We are doing this to ensure that we have an adequate water supply for everyday use and fire protection”.
