Gears of War 4 Launch Trailer Teases The Story And Gameplay
Wednesday 28 September – Gears of War Event at Bondi Icebergs, with Head of Xbox, Phil Spencer (4:00pm – 7:30pm AEST): On Wednesday afternoon, Xbox FanFest guests are invited to attend an exclusive, first of its kind Gears of War 4 inspired event at Bondi Icebergs, Sydney.

The trailer is narrated by John DiMaggio, the voice of Marcus Fenix, and features a cover of Metallica’s “Nothing Else Matters”, as performed by Lissie.
Though called the “gameplay launch trailer” it is exclusively cinematic sequences, establishing the story and the new cast of J.D. Fenix, Kait and Del, who join J.D.
You can check out the launch trailer and read the official story synopsis below. However, Microsoft just upped their game with the release of the new Gears of War 4 Gameplay Launch Trailer.
The game is being developed by The Coliation under the direction of Gears of War series veteran Rod Fergusson. After narrowly escaping an attack on their village, JD Fenix and his friends, Kait and Del, must rescue the ones they love and discover the source of a monstrous new enemy.

Available with two-player online and offline co-op, Gears also includes a competitive multiplayer mode, and fan-favourite Horde mode, which this time includes class-based systems. Those who purchase its $100 special edition may play beginning October 7.
