“Prayers go out to Ramah Juco they suffered a horrific charter bus accident on the way to Fayetteville to face the University of God’s Chosen”.

Highway Patrol has identified the four people who were killed in a bus crash on Highway 74 Saturday in Richmond County.

The bus was traveling east on the USA 74 bypass to participate in a football game at the University of God’s Chosen.

The bus passengers were from several colleges in the greater Rock Hill, S.C., area, Gordon said in a written statement Sunday morning.

He later posted on his Facebook page asking everyone to offer prayers to coach Bakari Rawlinson and the student-athletes involved in the crash.

The bus struck a median guardrail and sideswiped a concrete bridge column.

State troopers closed westbound lanes on I-74 as they continued to investigate. Ten were originally taken to FirstHealth Richmond, but two were airlifted to UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill, officials told CBS North Carolina.

The bus was carrying a Rockhill football team to a game in Fayetteville.

Both lanes of USA 74 were closed for almost 10 hours after the crash, which is being investigated by the National Transportation Safety Board.
