Red Hot Chili Peppers to play arena

After a summer filled with festival-headlining gigs and European dates, Red Hot Chili Peppers will bring their tour in support of their new LP The Getaway to North American arenas in 2017. The Red Hot Chili Peppers will perform at the Scottrade Center on January 18, 2017.

A fan club ticket pre-sale launches Wednesday at 10:00 a.m.

The veteran L.A. Rock and Roll Hall of Fame funk band is touring behind “The Getaway“, its chart-topping album that was released in June.

“The Getaway Tour” kicks off January 5, 2017, in San Antonio, TX.

Opening act will be Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue with special guest Jack Irons. The album marks the Grammy Award-winning band’s seventh top 10 album and third #2 on the Top 200 Chart. Anthony Kiedis of Red Hot Chili Peppers performs at Lollapalooza in Chicago. The band will perform at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum before the Rams take on the Seattle Seahawks. The Rams moved to Los Angeles
