Mel and Sue quit as Great British Bake Off hosts
Judges Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood, mainstays of the programme since it began in 2010, are yet to confirm if they will follow.

Perkins and Giedroyc said in a joint statement that they were “shocked and saddened” to learn of the Bake Off’s move from the BBC.
BBC failed to reach an agreement with the shows creator, Love productions, who have signed a three-year deal with Channel 4.
“We’ve had the most fantastic time on ‘Bake Off, ‘ and have loved seeing it rise and rise like a pair of yeasted Latvian baps”, they added.
Speaking on Premier’s Inspirational Breakfast, Benjamina said: “It’s quite exciting to know that we’re going to be the last BBC bakers. We wish all the future bakers every success”.
A source told The Sun: “Mary and Paul believe the show works because of Mel and Sue”. Any one who thinks that Bake Off is actually about the baking is sorely wrong.
After presenters Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins said they would be stepping down from the series, fans of the show have grown increasingly desperate for Hollywood and Mary Berry to reveal whether they will stay on as judges.
“BAKE OFF HOUSE, THIS IS DAVINA” Davina McCall has odds of 16/1 to become the Channel 4 host of the show with William Hill.
The Great British Bake Off was watched by 10.3 million viewers on Wednesday night – the best figure since this year’s launch show.
Jay Hunt, Channel 4’s chief creative officer, expressed pleasure at the broadcaster having landed the much-loved show.
This raised all sort of questions about the show’s talent and then we heard the bombshell that Mel and Sue quit the show. “If Paul and Mary go it’ll be a complete disaster”.
A BBC spokesperson said the corporation would love to have kept Bake Off but that they were “a considerable distance apart on the money”.
Mrs Wallace said: “Some people say they are going to boycott the programme once it moves but that’s perhaps going too far”.
