Bombs Found In NJ Trash Can A Day After NYC, NJ Explosions
Earlier on Saturday, there was an explosion at Seaside Park, New Jersey, which was timed to disrupt a Marine Corps charity run.

The blast came as five men were detained and questioned over a bomb attack in NY on Saturday night, which left 29 injured.
The New York Police Department released a photo of Ahmad Khan Rahami, who was wanted for questioning in the Saturday night explosions in Manhattan’s Chelsea neighborhood, de Blasio said on CNN.
Bill de Blasio says he could be armed and risky.
Three pipe-bomb-type devices wired together were found near the boardwalk at the Seaside Park event, said officials, adding that the devices were rudimentary and only one of them detonated. Mayor Bollwage said earlier Sunday night that he hoped everything would be cleared away for the Monday morning commute, however that was looking less likely since the other devices have yet to be removed.
Late Sunday, suspicious devices that turned out to be bombs were found near a train station in Elizabeth, New Jersey.
Police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation had responded earlier to the Elizabeth NJ Transit station after two homeless men found a suspicious bag there around 8:30 p.m. – devices in the bag were later determined to be explosive.
Bollwage said the Union County Bomb Squad was called in and a drone was used to examine the package.
New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo says investigators have no reason to believe that there are further threats, but the public should “be on constant guard”.
“The evidence might suggest a foreign connection”, Cuomo said in television interviews on Monday morning. No one was injured in that blast. “You didn’t know if was coming from the subway beneath you, you didn’t know if there were other bombs, you didn’t know where to go”.
NJ Transit and Amtrak said the police investigation in the area of the Elizabeth station had affected passenger rail service on the busy Northeast Corridor. The FBI was working to disarm the other four devices.
Amtrak has stations in Elizabethtown, Lancaster and Mount Joy.
The bomb in Manhattan appeared to have been placed near a large dumpster in front of a building undergoing construction, another law enforcement official, speaking on condition of anonymity, told AP.
Officials have not revealed any details about the makeup of the pressure-cooker device, except to say it had wires and a cellphone attached to act as timer.

“The crudity of the devices in all three cases certainly doesn’t point to any group that’s been developing (improvised explosive devices) for years”, said a United States official who requested anonymity told Reuters.
