Clinton Faces Problems Gaining Momentum in Florida While Trump Surges

Last week, at the opening of his hotel in Washington, D.C., Trump gave a terse statement to feed the media vampires.

Democratic strategist Philip Johnston, former chairman of the Massachusetts Democratic Party, said Clinton should handle her response to the bombing “as she handles most things, which is seriously and intelligently and rationally, and those are three things that Trump does not do”. That’s what his campaign said late Thursday when it claimed Trump’s goal all along was not to promote birtherism, but to end the birther ugliness by “successfully compelling President Obama to release his birth certificate”.

Hillary Clinton’s moment of truth with the Obama coalition is fast approaching – and she has work to do.

MIKE PENCE: Well, let me say that- the momentum in this campaign is really overwhelming.

The hesitation found among some Democrats toward Clinton’s candidacy has been labeled the “enthusiasm gap” by national pollsters.

During an impassioned speech to the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, an organisation that carries out research on issues affecting African-Americans, Mr Obama said it would be an “insult to his legacy” if the black community voted for Donald Trump – or refrained from voting at all – in the upcoming election.

“I mean, I have my own theory on Obama”.

The ultimate Clinton victory will mean better United States relations with the Philippines.

Clinton has called for a softening of immigration practices, saying she would deport only violent criminals and terrorists, a position in stark contrast to Trump’s vow to build a border wall and deport huge numbers of the undocumented.

Trump on Monday called for profiling refugees and immigrants from the Middle East to thwart attacks like the ones seen this weekend in New Jersey, New York and Minnesota.

“In other breaking news, the world is round, not flat”, he said.

“I hope someone will ask Donald Trump, ‘When you were doing that, did you believe it, and if you believed it, how could you have been so gullible or conspiratorial, or if you didn’t believe it, what were you doing dragging us back to the most painful chapter of American life? I am confident we will once again choose resolve over fear”.

Colorado and Virginia, two Democratic-leaning states that leaned more and more toward Clinton in recent weeks, both saw significant recent swings toward Trump. The university hosted a debate between Sen. The issue is almost certain to come up during Trump and Clinton’s first debate, September 26. Trump supporters spent Sunday blaming Clinton for beginning the so-called “birther” rumour that Obama was born outside the U.S. – when in fact Trump has been a key proponent of the tale.

“I think that her bodyguards should drop all weapons”, the real estate billionaire told a cheering rally.

He also said he tells them that their votes are needed, especially in the 2nd District. “Let’s see what happens to her”, he said. “It would be very risky”.

“This is somebody who is smart, who is tough and, most importantly, cares deeply about making sure that this country works for everybody and not just a few”, Obama said of Clinton.

Trump during that time was critical of a Muslim woman whose son, an Army captain, was killed in Iraq.

The comment may hurt Clinton, especially in the upcoming debates, when Trump will have a chance to paint her as an elitist who is way out of touch with the country’ s working class – the bulk of Trump’ s supporters. The GOP nominee said about a year ago that he was “fine” with the Obama administration’s decision to reopen diplomatic relations with Cuba, although he was critical of the deal and stressed the need for a better one.
