Pakistan is very scared since Modi’s Baloch comments, says Baloch activist

Bugti yesterday clarified that he has not made a formal request to India for asylum, but added that if does get the opportunity in the future, he would certainly consider it.

“We will request the US Govt to rethink their policy regarding Pakistan and take a step in the same direction as India and Afghanistan have taken”, the Baloch leader said. Officials said Bugti’s formal application for citizenship will be submitted by September 19 after his meeting with his party officials. “We will be closer to our people and our people can easily seek asylum there, and it is easier for them to reach there with their families”.

The channel even said that Bugti had started negotiations about his citizenship with Indian officials earlier this year, even before Narendra Modi raised the Baloch issue and Pakistan’s human right violations in his speech on this year’s Independence Day at Red Fort in Delhi.

Earlier this month he had also urged India to open its door to people of Balochistan. When Narendra Modi sahib talked about it, neighbouring countries like Afghanistan and Bangladesh supported his statement.
