Resorting to rhetoric ahead of the first-ever NSA-level talks, Pakistan has accused India of involvement in terrorism, saying “enemy” within the country gets money from overseas to create law and order problem.
While addressing the 30th passing-out parade of Punjab Rangers at the Pakistan Rangers Academy in Mandi Bahauddin and later talking to media persons, he said, “Who is behind terrorist attacks, it is very clear to us”. He commended the role being played by the Rangers and said tackling the enemies of the country was hard as they were hidden.
Fighting terrorism is a shared challenge, a shared responsibility, says State Department spokesperson. He said the country’s enemies were getting assistance from outside to create anarchy and achieve their nefarious designs.
The United States has reminded India and Pakistan that they have enough motivation to resolve their differences peacefully. Despite the financial constraints, he said, the government had allocated Rs45 billion for capacity building of the civil armed forces.
He said nation got more united and committed against terrorism after the condemnable Attock. “This is the same enemy into whose eyes we look at the Wagah border daily”. We have to win the war on terror at any costs, ” he added.

Responding to a question about the Indian prime minister’s recent visit to UAE where he sought the Gulf country’s help for combating terrorism, Mr Kirby said: “Obviously, he has every right to be concerned about the security of his country and his people”.
