United States media reports say the plane landed at Logan at 9.44am without incident.
JetBlue said that the plane had already been diverted due to a “non-critical equipment issue” when it is believed to have been struck by lightning.
The Boston Globe reports (http://bit.ly/2cyiZgp) the JetBlue flight was heading to Bermuda from John F. Kennedy Airport in NY on Monday morning when it was diverted.
The FAA said Monday that the Airbus 320 had left NY and was headed toward Bermuda.
“We’re not entirely sure that it was a lightning strike”, he said.
JetBlue said that it was a noncritical equipment issue and that the lighting strike occurred after the flight had been diverted.
