Carson open to using drones on U.S. soil to secure border

Senior Carson campaign strategist Ed Brookover told the Republic that the interest in the event was “beyond even what we had hoped for”. We’re guessing that Donald will respond with a proposal to add minefields, machine-gun-nests (but very classy ones, only the best) and possibly a great big laser like the Death Star had to his wall.

And, according to AZCetral.com, Carson drew a larger crowd at his Phoenix rally on Wednesday than Donald Trump did back in July.

The event was relocated to the Convention Center in downtown Phoenix after an overwhelming number of confirmations.

One organization, the Draft Ben Carson Committee, raised $12.2m in the period before he announced his campaign and spent $12m of that total, mostly on fundraising.

This is crucial. The Iowa primary is the traditional make or break primary contest for Democratic and GOP presidential candidates.

Though he didn’t offer specific reforms to the act, he stated it is in the hands of the American people to change the direction of the country.

Carson said the ISIS extremist group threatened the existence of the U.S. and questioned whether children born in the U.S.to unauthorized immigrants should have citizenship status.

Carson said one of his solutions to the immigration problem would be employing a guest-worker program that requires those workers to pay taxes, as well as a back-tax penalty. He said “the only thing the media provides is comic relief”. “They’re gone”, Carson said.

To decrease the size of the gap, Carson proposed the government should “lessen the amount of unfounded liabilities” and increase revenue. He explained that the current tax code for corporations is “74,000 pages long”.

While Carson is personally wealthy due to his success as a surgeon and service on several corporate boards, he is no Trump.

“God’s pretty fair”, he said, jokingly.

“He’s going to be the first president I get to vote for”, said Stull who was at the event with her brother, Chris, a Grand Canyon University student.

But even as he has attacked Planned Parenthood, Carson has stood by his support for fetal tissue research – which he has carried out himself in his own medical career. “You need to convince people by not voting, they are voting, but they are voting in the wrong direction”.
