IPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus make wierd ‘hissing’ sounds
Specifically, forum member maxlind noted that the noise happened on his 128GB iPhone 7 Plus under load, without charging or restoring from an iCloud backup. I can, for example, hear some high-pitched noises on my Galaxy S7 Edge if I hold it up to my ear in a quiet room.

Having said that, some users are experiencing a “hissing” sound when their iPhone 7 is put under a heavy load.
The issue does not appear to be pervasive across all iPhone 7 handsets, so it may be that some handsets are doing a better job of dampening the noise than others.
Well, this isn’t the first time a newly launched iPhone has engulfed in some controversy.
This new “hissing”-gate might not be as bad as Samsung’s explosive batteries but it can very well turn this issue into another iPhone-meme”.
In reply to Hackett’s tweet, Apple’s customer care team suggested him to go to an Apple store and get it replaced. If you’re suffering from the same problem, try taking your device to a Genius Bar to get a replacement once supplies become available. The iPhone 7 Plus has a second rear camera, which is new for Apple, and it offers 2x optical zoom so you can capture subjects found further away.
The accompanying tagline for the new advert reads: “The all-new iPhone 7, with low-light camera”.
Several reports of the iPhone making hissing sounds has surfaced online following that of Hackett’s initial post. The second Lightning port allows users with Lightning headphones to listen to the device and charge it at the same time, something that’s now impossible on the 7 without a cumbersome third-party dongle. This means that the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus is completely protected from dust and other solid materials, and it can be submerged in liquids as deep as 1 meter (about 3.28 feet) for up to 30 minutes.
The iPhone 7 and 7 Plus sport new A10 quad-core processors that some tests claim outstrip desktop computers.

Thankfully, all phones now still continue to work, but a hissing phone is certainly not something you want to hold in your hand or put in your pocket. Even if this is “coil whine”, there’s something not quite right here and as of yet, Apple has not responded to requests for comment.
