According to VideoCardz, the new GTX 950 is made to replace the older GM107 GPU-based GeForce GTX 750 series.

Nvidia GeForce GTX 950 is powered by the GM206-250 graphics processing unit with 768 stream processors, 48 texture units, 32 raster operations pipelines as well as 128-bit memory interface.

nVidia’s new video card coming out, the GTX 950, is a mid-range card that appeals to moderate gamers who play video games more often than the casual gamer.

GTX 950 competes with AMD R7 370 for the same price/performance segment. Nvidia has software available in its GeForce Experience suite that adjusts a game’s settings to deliver optimal performance for a given graphics card.

GeForce GTX 960, 950 Ti and 950 specs, as compared to GTX 750 Ti and 750.

Inside this model you’ll find the EVGA ACX 2.0 cooling system with fans that only turn on when you’re moving above 60C.

Some leaked driver info shows us that the GTX 950 will feature the Maxwell GM206 GPU for sure, coupled with 2GB GDDR5 of available memory, with an alternative version boasting 4GB of memory also under works.

The GTX 950 is very easily the best choice for graphics at this price point, bar none.

The GTX 950 aims to reduce latency between the graphics and your mouse and keyboard. The new GTX 950 supports all of the key features and technologies that the flagship GTX Titan X is capable of, including DirectX 12, GameStream, SLI, and much more. For example the app will auto tune DoTA 2 by reducing the number of maximum pre-rendered frames to one while turning off Nvidia’s Multi-Frame sampled anti-aliasing and vertical sync. This is incredibly hard to test, but it will likely come as good news to anyone seriously invested in the frantic clicking action of MOBA titles.

GameStream Co-op shares some similarities with PlayStation 4’s Share Play, and for now, streaming to another’s PC is limited to 720P/60fps.

Primarily this lets your friends observe your game, but you can also mirror the controls onto the guest PC to let them take over your gameplay, or even share controls and play cooperatively if the game supports it. The service is now limited to 720p at 60fps, and you need a minimum 6Mbit/s upload speed for smooth gameplay.
