Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams Got Matching ‘Game of Thrones’ Tattoos
But it was what Turner had on her arm that made news on the Emmys red carpet.

“We always kind of said we want matching [tattoos]”.
And Maisie and Sophie might also be bringing the rest of the Game Of Thrones castto get tatted up as Kat added: “They might be bringing some of the other guys up at some point”. According to Mashable, that would have been about two weeks before it was announced that the actresses had been cast on Game of Thrones.
Maisie hinted at her and Sophie’s tattoos on Instagram five days ago when she posted a picture of them with the caption ‘07.08.09’.
Last Tuesday at Belfast City Skinworks in Northern Ireland, Turner opted for a peach shade as requested by her mother, so it wouldn’t show up on screen. As for what she wishes she could tell herself, “I would say, ‘Don’t be so insecure”. The Game of Thrones MVP of Season 6 presented with Andy Samberg and ended up getting down on one knee for a good soundbite and offering to make out with Friday Night Lights’ Kyle Chandler.
Turner and Williams got “07.08.09” tattooed on their forearms to commemorate the date they landed the roles of Sansa and Arya.
“Given the high neckline of Maisie’s gorgeous custom gown, we knew we needed to pull it up”. “I’ve got to name all of them or they won’t lend to me again”, the 20-year-old actress quipped.
“My first ever [role] was Thrones and [my advice] would be, ‘Don’t be so bad!'” Turner said. I think fans are going to be really satisfied.
