José Mourinho: some Manchester United players not coping with pressure
“The world-record player is always a question, but I want Paul to forget that and to play his football”, Mourinho said before taking United to Watford for Sunday’s Premier League match.

The United boss looked unhappy with the home side’s opening goal, feeling Anthony Martial was fouled by Miguel Britos, but he will surely need to look more closely at his own side’s failings as they drifted six points behind league leaders Manchester City.
The miserable sequence started last Saturday by losing the first Manchester derby of the season to Guardiola’s City.
Mazzarri’s Watford host Ibrahimovic and his Manchester United team-mates on Sunday in the Premier League, although the pair have often come across each other during their time in Serie A. One thing you wouldn’t expect from a Jose Mourinho team is to slump to such low standards of media dealing.
United were level on 62 minutes when Ibrahimovic surged forward from deep, played a one-two with Rashford and narrowly missed the striker with a clipped cross.
“Paul said United was in his heart, Woodward wanted him at United a year ago and Mourinho had wanted him at Chelsea too, so when the two combined we knew it was right”.
Daryl Janmaat picked up the ball and crossed for Capoue to fire his fourth goal of the season.
“Today was exactly the same, we didn’t start well but then in the second half they show quality, intensity, desire, commitment, ambition – all these factors – and we lose again in our best moment”.
“The second factor is the referee and I can’t control their mistakes”. At 1-1 everyone thinks we are going to win the game. In the first half, in particular, it looked like he was not sure what he was supposed to be doing given Rooney’s pretensions, or that Rooney was trying to run the game because Pogba was hiding.
Jose Mourinho’s men grew in confidence as the match wore on with Ibrahimovic coming close to giving his side the lead only for his towering header to be tipped wide by a fingertip save from Gomes.
“I know that he is a very good guy with a lot of ambition, so the form will come naturally and will come with the team”.
