Nocturnal Animals was announced in 2015, and it didn’t take too long for producers George Clooney and Grant Heslov to round up the director and cast for the film. Susan did something to her ex-husband Tony, who is set out for revenge. And it seems like another novel adaptation is headed to theaters that will officially fill insane couple-shaped hole that Gone Girl left in our lives: Nocturnal Animals. Ford (A Single Man) adapted it for the screen.
Below, you can check out a teaser for the film’s full trailer, which will be released tomorrow.
Here is a sneak peek at the film that just won the Grand Jury Prize at Venice.

Nocturnal Animals opens in select theaters on November 18. She hasn’t seen her ex-husband in years, and she’s forced to face the sins of her former life as she reads through the book. On the other hand, Variety’s Owen Gleiberman called it a victor, describing it as an “ambitious high-wire noir thriller with Amy Adams and Jake Gyllenhaal in an explosive tale of love, violence, and revenge”.
