Hillary Clinton Touts Experience Killing Terrorists at Press Conference on Recent Attacks

Clinton touted her national security credentials at a hastily arranged news conference outside her campaign plane, accusing Trump of using the incidents to make “some kind of demagogic point”.

I’m the only candidate in this race who has been part of the hard decisions to take terrorists off the battlefield. “I have sat at that table in the Situation Room”.

She added: “I know how to do this”.

Yet, Hillary Clinton referred to the bombings in NY and New Jersey, but CNN edited that out.

The Democratic presidential nominee spoke to reporters Monday after a weekend in which bombs exploded in Manhattan and New Jersey, and nine people were stabbed a mall in Minnesota.

As several Trump supporters shouted “Hang him!” the Republican presidential candidate bemoaned the fact that Ahmad Khan Rahami, a 28-year-old USA citizen originally from Afghanistan, would receive quality medical care and legal representation.

Hillary Clinton, campaigning Monday at Temple University, told college students – many of whom are drowning in debt – that she’s the candidate to address their needs.

“Knock the hell out of ’em, ” Trump said on “Fox and Friends” in a telephone interview.

“We’re not knocking them, we’re hitting them once in a while; we’re hitting them in certain places”. We’re being very gentle about it. And sometimes Fox actually doesn’t treat me well also, by the way, but that’s OK.

Trump, meanwhile, said Clinton’s “weakness” while Democratic President Barack Obama’s secretary of state had emboldened terrorists worldwide to attack the United States.

Donald Trump is again taking credit for predicting current events after he had announced that the cause of Saturday’s explosion in NY was a bomb before authorities had publicly said so. She insinuated that Islamic militants, particularly those affiliated with ISIS, are rooting for Trump to win the White House and are using some of his controversial proposals to recruit fighters. Earlier this summer, following the deadliest mass shooting in American history, Trump tweeted a widely-denounced humble brag about “being right on radical Islamic terrorism”.

Clinton told the crowd of about 200 at Mitten Hall that she has a plan that would offer debt-free public college for everyone, apprentice programs for those who opt to not go to college, and high-quality child care for every family.

Both Trump and Clinton ended their days in New York City, where they met with leaders gathered for the United Nations General Assembly. Because of that, the letter says, the next president of the us should champion policies that are “motivated exclusively by what is in America’s best interest, not by the financial interests of our president”, the New York Times reports.

With world leaders gathered in NY for the United Nations conclave, Clinton was expected to meet leaders of Japan, Egypt and Ukraine later on Monday while Trump was expected to meet Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.
