The Colaba police, on Wednesday, arrested the 25-year-old man, who had allegedly masturbated on the street at an American woman, in broad daylight on Monday. The police have wasted no time in apprehending the parrot while the big bad pervert is still out there – a potential threat to other women. “I have therefore decided to take down the picture”, she said.

Some social media users criticised her for uploading the picture, saying she should have instead just contacted the police. Nearly the entire staff of the Colaba police station were pressed into action, with strict orders from above: nab the accused as soon as possible.
– The man has been arrested under section 509 of the Indian Penal Code, which deals with making sexually explicit gestures at a woman to molest her. He has been granted bail by a Mumbai court.
She further claimed that her brother was a commerce graduate and worked as a share broker in one of the firms in the Fountain area. “We will get a clear picture only when we record her statement”, said Vinay Gadgil, Senior Inspector of Colaba Police Station.
As Valmiki tells the tale, he had gone on a morning walk and needed to attend to nature’s call. “Why would he come out to do such activities?”
Valmiki’s family maintains that he is innocent. His father was also in the house when he was picked up, and he was clueless about what was happening.
