The series’ ninth season may have been a preview of what is to come with Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) and Howard (Simon Helberg) expecting their firstborn, and Penny (Kaley Cuoco) and Leonard (Johnny Galecki) deciding to have a wedding ceremony again for the sake of their families.
Penny’s mom (Sagal), Susan has a bit of an anxiety problem, and her brother Randall (McBrayer) has done time behind bars for dealing drugs. Also, it’ll be amusing to see more of Norris in this role, given that by and large we do associate him for the most part with playing serious characters, such as Hank or Big Jim from a different CBS show in “Under the Dome”. For last season’s wedding, Penny decided against the classic white, and wore a pink dress for her Vegas wedding, but tonight, fans of The Big Bang Theory will finally get to see Penny wear white to her wedding.
“Despite all the weirdness going on around it, you still have Leonard and Penny, who still love each other, and those pockets of love find a way of bubbling through the tension”.
“Without giving away too much, there are ways that we can experiment and the show still very much feel like the show”, Molaro countered. Reports hint of a possible budding romance between him and Sheldon’s mom, Mary.
“I hope Alfred and I are able to continue to see each other”.

Executive producer Steven Molaro told Entertainment Weekly that this would be problematic for the boys, especially when Dean Norris’ character comes into the picture.
As for Sheldon and Amy – well fans will be seeing more of them together this season. “I don’t always show it, but you are of great importance to me, both of you”.
“I’m sure she would like it to be a little more often than once a year”, Molaro joked.
