Playstation 4 Update 4.0 Will Launch Tomorrow, September 13
As announced by Sony last week during their announcement of the PS4 Slim and PS4 Pro, HDR will be supported by each and every PS4 console, as long as it is attached to an HDR capable display. Fallout 4 on Xbox One was given mod support back in May, with the PS4 version due to get it in June.

Playstation 4 update 4.0 will be coming out before the Playstation 4 Slim and the Playstation 4 Pro, the newest iterations of the Playstation 4, will be releasing later this month and in November, respectively.
40 million plus PS4 owners will soon be able to play games in High Dynamic Resolution.
“After updating your system to version 4.00, you’ll see HDR settings in the Video Output Settings and be ready to enjoy HDR gaming and entertainment content once it’s available on any PS4 system you own”. What do you think about Sony’s decision to not allow them? Bringing all PlayStation 4 consoles up to snuff for HDR sounds impressive-we haven’t seen its quality yet-and we’re curious to see if Microsoft can (or will) try something similar for its consoles. For starters, Patch 4.0 is adding a Music option to the quick menu, allowing users to control Spotify and listen to their playlists from within a game. The What’s New menu has been redesigned and will show you information about what your other Playstation friends have been doing online.
You can also transfer games to new PS4s now via a wired LAN connection. Bethesda revealed today that the studio has always been able to support mods for the PS4, much as it does for the Xbox One, but Sony dropped the ball on the entire proposal.

The article also mentioned that users can log into PlayStation Network with their PS4 Pro, access their games and content library, and then re-download their previously purchased games or content.
