He accepted Baar Baar Dekho’s failure and said that he will now be more conscious in the future about the modalities of how the film is shaping up. He says the Nitya Mehra directorial has made him a “better artiste and human being”.

Sidharth Malhotra, who was on a winning spree this year with his previous hit Kapoor & Sons, faced disappointment too. Baar Baar Dekho did fairly decent in opening weekend with film collecting Rs 6.81 crores on Friday, Rs 7.65 crores on Saturday, Rs 6.70 crores on Sunday. Some shutterbugs and mediapersons were waiting to capture Katrina in their lenses and take some byte, but the “Baar Baar Dekho” actress refused to come out of her auto when she learnt that media was waiting for her, according to SpotboyE. I stand by my choices. The film saw below average business at the Box Office and it seems, Katrina is now not in a mood to take any project after this. But at least we tried something new.
Interestingly, Cyril Rafaelli is not working with a Bollywood movie for the first time. “Or if I write a script I’ll be thinking anxiously about whether it works for me as a member of the audience”, he said. This is the first time the director duo and the actor are venturing into the action genre.
