Emmys telecast ratings hit record low with 11.3 million viewers

On Sunday, an Emmy audience 14 times as large saw its star, Tatiana Maslany, win for lead actress in a drama series.

The HBO series was up for 24 awards and came away with 12 at Sunday night’s Emmy awards in Los Angeles.

Her rivals in the category included Game Of Thrones stars Lena Headey, Emilia Clarke and Maisie Williams.

Louis-Dreyfus apologized for what she called “the current political climate”, seven weeks before the presidential election. “This season is unbelievable and I think fans are going to be really satisfied”.
