Former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has formally accepted the U.S. Democratic Party’ s nomination for president and pledged more economic opportunities for Americans and “steady leadership”.

Her campaign days later released further medical information on her health, while Trump appeared on The Dr. Oz Show to discuss a summary of his most recent physical exam. Trump made the announcement during a “press conference” at his new Washington, D.C., hotel, where he did not take any questions from the press.
Clinton noted she would meet Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi later Monday and discuss “the threat from terrorism” – as Trump’s campaign disclosed that he too would be meeting the Egyptian leader later in the day.

Of course this circumstance (if true) would be something of a shallow precedent, given that the current campaign is Donald Trump’s first bid for public office, and therefore no ex-presidents would ever have had occasion to urge Americans not to vote for him before.
