Apple just pushed out its latest and much awaited iOS 10 update on September 13, and a swarm of iOS fans hurried to download the novel firmware and tap into its potential. The company claims it only affected a “small number of users” in the first hour that iOS 10 was available. The other iOS 10-based features include forwarding message to multiple chats at once.
It’s an enticing update and one that iPhone, iPad and iPod touch owners will have their eyes on as we push toward the end of the year.
Rebecca Borison, a developer at software firm Blue Metal, said, when she tried to update her iPhone 6S on Tuesday, the new software froze her screen at first. Users should see the update appear in the Settings app on their device, and you can download it as an Over-The-Air Update or connect your device to iTunes on a Mac and then install iOS 10. Don’t install Apple’s latest iOS software on it, U.S. carrier T-Mobile warned Thursday before instructing users later in the day how on how to resolve the issue. Several Reddit users have confirmed that they’ve received Carrier Update 25.2 and that it fixes the connectivity issues that they were having.
