Felt Bad After Being Removed As UP SP Chief CM Akhilesh Yadav

He took exception to Akhilesh Yadav’s assertion made earlier on Friday that the “role of outsiders would not be tolerated”.

As the crisis threatened to cast a shadow over the SP’s prospects in the upcoming Assembly elections, Mulayam sought to downplay the developments saying, “Every father and son faces issues.There is no rift”. “This is a well-planned strategy of Mulayam to divert attention of people from his “putra moh” (love for son)”, the BSP chief said.

However, when one of the party activists pointed out that the “Modi wave” was at work in 2014, the Samajwadi Party supremo curtly told him to sit down. There are no differences within the party.

Meanwhile, a string of legislators and some ministers, including former Mining Minister Gayatri Prajapati, met Shivpal at his official residence earlier in the day.

“We all have to strengthen Samajwadi Party”.

“Hum sab neta ji ke saath hain (We all are with neta ji)”, he said while making it clear that for him only Mulayam Singh Yadav is the boss.

At I pm Mulayam Singh Yadav arrives in the party office and heads straight to the auditorium in state office of the party.

“The high voltage drama of Samajwadi Party and the Akhilesh Yadav government has come on the streets today and has now become a challenge for the law and order”, he said. The word goes round that the dispute within the first family of the ruling party has been amicably settled and the warring factions of Chacha and Bhatijaa have agreed to abide by the the decision of Netaji. “We have a great organisation”, he said.

Unconfirmed reports suggest that the Chief Minister has returned the resignation of his uncle.

On Mulayam’s announcement of taking back controversial minister Prajapati, Akhilesh said, “It is my responsibility as a son to accept Netaji’s decision”. He also feels bad about whatever happened.

Mulayam had rushed here from Delhi last evening after the public feud between Akhilesh and Shivpal deepened.

Aditya is an elected chairman of the Uttar Pradesh Cooperative Federation while Sarla Yadav is chairperson of the Etawah Cooperative Federation.

“I have myself congratulated SP’s UP unit president Shivpal Yadav after meeting him at his residence”.

One of his supporters also tried to immolate himself demanding sacking of Mulayam’s cousin Ramgopal Yadav. “Is this the way you treat a person like him”, asked an angry supporter.

Locked in a turf battle with his uncle Shivpal Yadav, chief minister Akhilesh Yadav on Friday laid bare his angst, saying he “felt bad” after being removed as Samajwadi Party state president and demanded that he be given a say in ticket distribution for the 2017 Assembly election. I have learnt a lot from Netaji (Mulayam).

In between sources have confirmed that SP supremo Mulayam Singh has organized a luncheon at his residence 5 Vikramaditya marg.
