Tim Tebow Focused On Mets, Team Begins Selling Jerseys
A complete train wreck validating any concerns that this was a publicity stunt?

Here’s Tebow with his new teammates.
Maybe he would simply walk on water? The 2007 Heisman Trophy victor and former NFL quarterback got to the complex early Monday, and started his first workout as part of their instructional league team. He played in three preseason games, completing just 36.7 percent of his 30 passes for 145 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions while taking seven sacks.
At a news conference, Tebow said his new book “Shaken” describes the disappointment he felt after being cut by several National Football League teams. But they said it was pretty interesting.
“Figuring out, what do I take out?” Really appreciate you guys getting me ready!
Tebow, 29, signed with the Mets two weeks ago and will participate in the Instructional League all fall.
Tim #Tebow has arrived for his first workout with the #Mets in Port St. Lucie. As the Major League Baseball season begins to wind down and storylines begin to take shape, anything new will get reporters and fans alike in a tizzy.
And that was after the team reached the World Series. And that’s while Tebow was still on campus.
“They said it was pretty interesting”, Collins said.
Over the weekend, Tebow’s jersey quickly leapt over the jerseys of popular Mets’ major league players, including Noah Snydergaard, Yoenis Cespedes and even Baseball Hall of Famer Mike Piazza. After looking unsure of himself for a few more throws, a Mets coach said something to Tebow, and he looked fine throwing after that. He got a huge cheer from fans for executing his first official drill, one where he learned how to take a lead off first base. I haven’t spoken to Tim yet, but from everything I’ve seen about him, he’s a very positive person and obviously a hard worker who’s become successful in his own right. “It was definitely a dream of mine when I was a kid”.

I’m excited about it.
