Former Patriots C Stork visiting Jets
Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported the center is set to visit the New York Jets on Tuesday as the team seeks to bolster its depth in the trenches.

The Patriots traded Stork to Washington in August, but the deal was nixed when he failed his physical.
Starting left guard James Carpenter is reportedly dealing with a calf strain and, as of Monday, head coach Todd Bowles didn’t have an update on Carpenter’s availability for Sunday’s game at Kansas City.
It’s been a odd offseason for Stork, who does have a concussion history that goes back all the way to college, where he won a BCS title with Florida State. So if Carpenter can’t play at the Chiefs, the Jets wouldn’t have a backup center, since Johnson would have to take Carpenter’s spot.
It’s unclear if the concussion issues are the reason he was released and that he failed his physical, but they’re certainly a concern for National Football League teams, which is why he’s spent two weeks as a free agent. The Patriots then cut him.

Stork has been a free agent ever since. He had missed playing time due to concussion-like symptoms along with other injuries the past few years. He also played guard and right tackle for the Patriots, in addition to center.
