People who weakly submitted to peer pressure and bought an iPhone 7 already are finding plenty of minor things to complain about on the internet, with today’s thing being an apparent bug in the official Apple wired Lightning EarPods.

Tech giant Apple acknowledged on Monday that its new iPhone 7 smartphone is affected by a Lightning EarPods remote control issue; and said that it is working on a fix for the issue. The audio continues to play without any interruptions, but the remote does not work; hence, there is no way to control the volume, answer a phone call or access Siri, says MacRumors. Apple said on Monday it is working on an upcoming software update to fix the issue.

Without a 3.5mm jack, iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus users must use Lightning headphones or the included 3.5mm-to-Lightning adapter.

A tweet by Scott O’Reilly ‏@scttor on Twitter highlighted the issue.

Just after few weeks, Apple iPhone 7 is in news for all the wrong reasons!

Another iPhone 7 issue that emerged during the weekend is the loss of cellular service after switching from Airplane Mode back to its regular signal.

It’s unknown whether the issue affects third-party Lightning headphones. First there was Hissgate, in which some iPhone 7 Plus owners reported that their handsets emit odd noises when under heavy load. Apple users have reported a hissing problem on the new iPhones, and it is being blamed on the A10 Fusion chipset.
