Even Russia made a qualified mention of the Islamic country, stating: “We are also concerned about the fact that, according to New Delhi, the army base near Uri was attacked from Pakistani territory”. Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) spokesperson Vikas Swarup shared the Russian message on Twitter. Salim, 80, also said it was Sharif’s admission that no one in Pakistan listens to him. It was decided after Pakistan’s PM announced that he had asked 22 parliamentarians to raise the Kashmir issue at UNGA. Pakistan and Russian Federation were scheduled to conduct the “Druzhba-2016” tactical exercises from September 24-October 7 in Rattu and Cherat.

“Nafees Zakaria regretted that India always levels baseless allegations against Pakistan whenever terrorist acts take place there”, the report added.
