Four terrorists who were killed were carrying food and medicine packets with Pakistan markings on it and preliminary investigation suggested the terrorists are from the Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammad.

Barely two days after the terror attack in Uri, two infiltration bids were made from across the border in Kashmir on Tuesday.
Salim, 80, also said it was Sharif’s admission that no one in Pakistan listens to him.
Regarding the fire fight underway in Uri, he said that the alert Army troops intercepted a large group of militants soon after they sneaked into Jammu and Kashmir from Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir after breaching the border fence.
During his election campaign he promised to take a hard line over Kashmir and has faced calls from army veterans – and even some in his own party – for military action against Pakistan.
The Army said that earlier on Tuesday morning, Pakistani troops violated ceasefire and fired incessantly at Indian posts in Uri for almost 20 minutes.
Hasina, who is now in NY to attend the 71st UN General Assembly, said she is deeply saddened to learn about the dastardly terrorist attack on the army base on September 18. “The area has been cordoned off and all escape routes have been sealed”, a source told Mirror.
The meeting took stock of the unprovoked firing from across the border. The officers, who spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to talk on the record, said no Pakistani troops had fired at any Indian military position in Kashmir. Unless India procures Chinese support through painstaking diplomacy and a smart give-and-take approach, Beijing would have little incentive to annoy Pakistan.
According to the Indian Army, infiltration attempts from across the border with Pakistan have increased this year in comparison with the past three to four years.
Meanwhile, in New Delhi Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh chaired a high-level security review meeting in the North Block on Tuesday morning over the prevailing situation in Jammu and Kashmir post Uri terror attack.

He urged the US Administration and Secretary Kerry to use their good office and help in resolving the complicated issues of India-Pakistan. “I still remember President Bill Clinton’s promise that the USA will play its role to help out in resolving bilateral disputes and issues between Pakistan and India”, he said.
