Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt on September 15 after two years of marriage and 14 years together, citing irreconcilable differences.
Though together for 12 years, Pitt and Jolie Pitt – known as “Brangelina” – only Wednesday in August 2014.
“Mr. and Mrs. Smith” wrapped in 2004 and it wasn’t until January 2005 that Pitt and Aniston announced their separation.
Their children are: 15-year-old Maddox, 12-year-old Pax, 11-year-old Zahara, 10-year-old Shiloh, and 8-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.
Angelina has requested sole physical custody of their children but is seeking joint legal custody and is allowing Brad to have visitation rights.
Jolie Pitt has spent much of the past year making “First They Killed My Father”, her fourth feature as director. It’s the third for Jolie Pitt, who was previously married to Billy Bob Thornton and Jonny Lee Miller.
Following their split, Aniston’s every move was cruelly scrutinized on how she was handling their breakup and the rumors surrounding his new romance with Jolie. They formed the Jolie-Pitt Foundation in 2016.

According to TMZ.com, Angelina made the shock decision after growing “extremely upset” with how Brad was parenting their children, with a source adding that “she was extremely upset with his methods”, and “fed up” with his alleged use of “weed and possibly alcohol” mixed with his ‘anger problem’. “You do a film about bad marriage and you witness that behavior”.
