An attorney for Jolie Pitt, Robert Offer, said Tuesday that Jolie Pitt’s decision to divorce was made “for the health of the family”. TMZ reports that sources close to Jolie and Pitt insist that Jolie’s reason for seeking divorce “has to do with the way Brad was parenting the children”, saying Jolie “was extremely upset with his methods”.

Earlier that year, Pitt told The Hollywood Reporter that he and Jolie did hope to get married, for the sake of their children. “I kindly ask the press to give them the space they deserve during this challenging time”, Pitt said in a statement to People magazine.
“Here you have one of the most secure marriages in Hollywood, and this is about the two of you in a deeply troubled marriage”, Brokaw said.
As well as their film careers, Pitt and Jolie are both known for charitable work: they set up the Maddox Jolie-Pitt Foundation 10 years ago to assist in humanitarian crises around the world, launching it with a $1m donation to Medicins Sans Frontiers. After the pair film “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” together (59% rating on Rotten Tomatoes), Brad Pitt and his first wife, Jennifer Aniston, split up.

“Angelina did not approve of this movie [‘World War Z 2’] because she knew it would once again take him away from her and the family when she felt they needed to spend more time together”. Pitt, Haven and Jolie were at the Los Angeles hospital when she passed.

Their children include sons adopted from Cambodia and Vietnam and a daughter adopted from Ethiopia, as well as three biological children. Pitt – and the world – is supportive. Months later, Pitt and Jolie went public with their controversial romance.
