Top waiver wire grabs for Week 3
The Steelers had a value shift at wide receiver, as Sammie Coates (available in 81 percent of CBSSports.com leagues) hauled in 97 yards on two receptions, while last week’s waiver wire darling, Eli Rogers, managed just one catch for 9 yards. He’s day-to-day with a groin injury and should be considered questionable at best for Week 3.

Cameron Artis-Payne is expected to be active with Jonathan Stewart out of action, giving him flex appeal, but Fozzy Whittaker will be involved as well. Matt Asiata is interesting as well but Jerick MacKinnon will share the duties.
Benjamin has been proving his worth to fantasy owners and caught all six of his targets for 115 yards to go along with two touchdowns on Sunday and should definitely be owned in all leagues moving forward. McKinnon has only gained a total of eight yards on three carries this season, but he will likely be named the starter in Peterson’s absence. “I have no qualms with having him ready to roll”. The extent of Foster’s injury isn’t yet known, but Coach Adam Gase said Sunday that the team’s medical staff knew it was serious right away.
Latavius Murray has seen his workload decline thus far, but he’s been more efficient than last season and seems to have a nose for the end zone.
Jay Ajayi, RB, Dolphins. Ajayi has been in Gase’s doghouse for a while now and was left off the team’s active roster in Week 1 as a healthy scratch. Drake, a rookie, scored his first career touchdown on Sunday and could be worth monitoring.

Take Jonathan Stewart’s hamstring injury, for instance. He played in Week 2 against the Patriots, gaining 14 yards on five carries while also catching four passes for 31 yards. ( I own Graham in league 1), (Pitta in league 2) and (Ertz and Allen in league 3). PPR. He didn’t do too much replacing Martin on Sunday, but neither did the Bucs’ offense as a whole. That doesn’t sound good. Theo Riddick will likely get the majority of the touches if Abdullah isn’t okay, but Washington did show some flashes in Week 2 when he touched the ball – especially on a 28-yard run. The rookie may have the highest ceiling of the group, Foster included, so pick him up now – and save him for later. He’ll have an MRI exam on Monday. Expect to see Melvin Gordon carry more of the load (he had his first 100-yard game of his career on Sunday), but Gordon nearly certainly is owned already in your league. Once that’s all settled, a fundamental fantasy dilemma remains: Do you let go of a potential star who’s off to a slow start (someone like Titans wideout Rishard Matthews) for an iffy player with a new opportunity? But Gordon’s the guy now.
