The Xbox Scorpio will be more powerful than the PlayStation 4 Pro
The two consoles will be fierce opposition for Microsoft’s new slimmer Xbox One S and its high-powered Project Scorpio, which will launch at the end of next year. 4K Blu-ray, however, will not be included with the new console – despite being standard on not only the Xbox Scorpio, but also the Xbox One S.

Microsoft has their own new, more powerful console in the works too. It means the Scorpio will be 43% more powerful than PS4 Pro, at least on paper.
Sony has said that HDR output will not be limited to its new PS4 models. All games on the console will run at 1080p resolution on the console, with some stated to “even run in a higher or more stable framerate”.
A new slimmer version of the existing PS4 console was also unveiled at an event in NY. The new Slim will also lack 4K Blu-ray capabilities, but that is not as surprising. Now, new reports have emerged saying that PlayStation Neo is not going to be the brand name Sony will use on its new gaming system.
However, it can’t be denied that Sony has a head start when it comes to sales what with holiday game releases in just a few more months. As for video streaming, you’ll be happy to know that Netflix and YouTube will both provide 4K content for the PS4 Pro.

The $399 PS4 Pro, which arrives November 10, is created to support the high graphical fidelity needed for virtual reality. Then they went into the juicy stuff: PS4 Pro. With this, it is expected to surpass the success of Microsoft’s Xbox One S console, thanks to the 4K gaming that the PlayStation 4 Pro promises to have. You won’t have to buy separate versions of each game; it will automatically switch depending on which kind of console you play it on.
